Linkin Park is a fresh new type of music that is brand new to the public eye. Most people recognize Linkin Park from the song "One Step Closer". With the mix of Hip Hop, Rock and Electronic mixing, it gives Linkin Park a very unique sound. It is truly one of a kind. It is a type of music that a majority of people can enjoy being practically impossible to resist from bouncing your head to the catchy beat. Amazingly, Linkin Park has made their way to the top of the charts with powerful lyrics without any profanity. Which in todays hell driven times, it is a very rarity to find a band to do this and accually be successful.

Their old name being Hybrid Theory, we now refer to them as Linkin Park, changing their name to avoid legal confrentation with another band with the same name. They spelled in Linkin Park instead of Lincoln Park so they could purchase the domain name. The band used to be just 4 members, Mike, Rob, Brad and Joseph. They were looking for another singer and sent Chester a tape to sing or make up lyrics to. He jumped on the oportunity and recorded them on his birthday and called them back right away. He played his tape over the phone and the band was very impressed and told him to fly over. And boom, we have Linkin Park!
